Meet our Pastor

Tony Byers, is the pastor of Salem Baptist Church in Conway, Arkansas. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, after his father Cleo passed, Florine his mother went back to Cleveland, Arkansas to raise her family. He graduated from Wonderview High and furthered his education at Clark Summit University earning a Bachelor of Science and Biblical Studies. Pastor Byers has been faithfully serving in ministry for over two decades, having previously pastored Friendship Baptist Church in Center Ridge, Arkansas for 17 years, First Missionary Baptist Church in Little Rock, Arkansas for 5 years, and Church Without Walls for 1 year. He has been married to his wife Diana, since November 1993. Together, they have four children and two grandchildren - Joshua and his wife Alex and their daughter Adalynn, Aaliyhia and her daughter Khole, Faith and Hope, whom he treasures deeply. His passion for ministry and love for his family continue to guide his service to the church and community.
